Job Duties for Marketing assistant
- Evaluate the characteristics of services to identify the advertising requirements of the business.
- Provide guidance to clients regarding opportunities and strategies for marketing, advertising, or sales promotion.
- Create and implement strategies and plans for the direct and digital marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Conduct research to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, analyze the information to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies.
- Create and handle social media accounts.
- Develop and edit content for social media accounts and website, ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audience.
- Develop, implement, and assess public relation plans, activities to enlighten clients, staff and customers regarding the programs and policies of business.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing the data related to marketing campaigns, website traffic, customer behaviour. Use insights to optimize the marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Create reports, emails, presentations, maintain spreadsheets.
- Organize and coordinate marketing events, trade shows, meetings, interviews, conferences, and other events.
- Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Salary and Working hours: $32.55/Hour with minimum 30 hours per week.
Overtime Rate & Holiday pay: $48.83 per hour starting after 44 hours per week with 4% of gross pay.
Job Details:
Education and Experience: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience; Relevant experience of 1 year to less than 2 years to execute job duties.
