Job title: Operating Officer – Administration (NOC: 13100)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (36hr/week)

Vacancy: 1

Wage: C$30.00/hr.

Language Requirement: English.

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualification: Senior Secondary (High) School Certificate.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior executives to establish rules, protocols, and standard operating processes that guide the day-to-day functioning of organization.
  • Review, evaluate and implement new protocols.
  • Supervise various administrative functions, like Human Resource and Finance.
  • Maintain inventory and perform budgeting to ensure that administrative costs are controlled and allocated efficiently.
  • Establish contracting and project planning and management duties.
  • Establish work priorities by identifying critical tasks, setting deadlines, delegate work to the office support staff and make sure all deadlines are met and procedures followed.  
  • Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations and also look into the policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.  
  • Coordinate and plan for office services to make sure efficiently functioning of the organization.
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
  • Assist in preparing operating budget
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence for the organization.
