Job description:
Wage: $20.00 per hour; 40 hours per week
Location of Work: Caldense Bakery, 442 Holland Street West, Bradford, ON L3Z 0G1
Job Description:
- Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread and all other Portuguese traditional specialties including Portuguese cream tarts “pastel de nata” and “bolo rei”, etc.
- Prepare dough, icings and frostings according to Portuguese recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed doughs and batters
- Decorate cakes, pastries and other baked goods
- Ensure quality of baked products meet our standards
- Place orders for baking supplies
- Determine type and quantity of pastries to produce
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Specialization in Portuguese pastries and breads
