Job description

Job title:  Bookkeeper (NOC 12200)

Wage: $28.00/hour

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week

Address: 1425 Topsail Rd, Paradise, NL A1L 1H6

Nature: Full-time permanent. 

Language: English

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary

Job duties

1. Manage all the transaction records from customers to suppliers and report the balances.

2. Reconcile accounts, especially for accounts payable to suppliers and accounts receivable from take-away online platforms.

3. Prepare the employees’ payrolls and T4 with cheques.

4. Balance trial accounts to prepare income and balance statements.

5. Complete government requested financial related documents and forms.

6. Maybe prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Job requirements

1. Completion of secondary school is a must.

2. A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.

3. At least a year of working experience as a bookkeeper or similar role is a must.

4. Basic computer skills. 

5. Attention to detail with outstanding accuracy 

6. Being good in a second language will be preferred.
