Wage rate: $28.00 / hour, 40 hours/ week
Work Location: Various locations all over lower mainland
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Work experience: 3 to 4 years of experience is required
Language: Basic English
Job Duties:
° Reading and interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
° Installing and maintaining lighting fixture, electrical control and distribution equipment.
° Pulling wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors.
° Testing continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair.
° Troubleshooting electronic systems and replacing faulty components.
° Connecting power to communications equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems.
° Conducting preventive maintenance programs.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature.
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling
