HIRING: A Head Baker for our 24 hours operating three stores (Denman, Davie, and Kits.) in Vancouver, BC!
Employer: Breka Bakery & Cafe Inc.
Work Location: 821 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 2L7
Position: Head Baker (Permanent/Full-time)
Number of Opening: 1
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Wage: $34.62 per hour

Job duties for this position include:
- Supervise bakers in production of cakes for designated stores, Denman, Davie, and Kits.
- Monitor ingredients inventory levels and manage ordering to ensure par levels in stock.
- Scheduling for bakers to maintain operational and service standards.
- Establishes and maintains effective and positive communication amongst all team members.
- Participate in creations for recipes and new menus by consulting the managerial team.
- Participate in meetings for operational subjects regarding sales and budget planning, if required.
- Ensure food and safety standards all the time.
- May perform the duties in baking and producing the products, if required.
- Hiring of new bakers and providing training.
Job Requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: Completion of Secondary
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of baking experience in a commercial environment/cafe/bakery or
- Minimum 2 years of baking experience in a commercial environment/cafe/bakery who has a completion of baking related course/program
- Must be available to work during our 24 hours operational hour.
- Must be available to work all weekends/holidays
