Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot construction and landscaping equipment to identify faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components
- Conduct routine maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and servicing equipment
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and documentation
- Order parts and manage inventory of tools, supplies, and components
- Set up and assemble machines and equipment as needed
- Perform welding tasks related to repairs and equipment modifications
- Service attachments and working tools used in construction and landscaping
- Diagnose and repair emission control systems in compliance with regulations
- Train and supervise apprentices or junior mechanics
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Eligibility Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school and training courses or a vocational program is usually required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically able to bend, crouch, and stand for long periods
- Effective in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and sound judgment
- Strong English oral and written communication
- Highly organized and reliable
- Client-focused and a dedicated team player
- Adaptable to dynamic work conditions
Location: 95 Joymar Dr suite Unit 7Mississauga, ONL5M 3S8
Salary: $36.50 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
