7621442 CANADA INC. O/A Optical Pulse located at 8990 Chinguacousy Road Unit 7, Brampton, ON L6Y 5X6 requires 1 Ophthalmic Technician on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 34.50 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. 7 months to 1 year experience is required as an Ophthalmic Technician. Job Duties
- Vision Testing - Measuring vision, taking eye pressures, and administering various diagnostic tests like Visual Acuity, visual field etc.
- Performing preliminary exams and tests to check patient's eye conditions
- Cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic equipment
- Answering patients' questions and encouraging healthy habits
- Gathering patient information, recording medical history, and explaining procedures.
- To maintain and clean exam rooms, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
- Educating patients about eye health, eye conditions, and the use of eyeglasses or contact lenses.
- Supporting Eye Doctor with various procedures
- Any other relevant task
