Job description:
Location: 185 Advance Blvd, Brampton, ON L6T 4Y3
Salary: $ 36.10 hourly / 31 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for building and installing various wooden structures, such as walls, floors, ceilings, and
- frameworks.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and plans to understand project specifications and
- measurements.
- Measure and cut wood or other materials to precise dimensions using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Assemble and join wood components using nails, screws, adhesives, or other fastening methods,
- ensuring stability and structural integrity.
- Install fixtures, cabinets, windows, doors, and hardware within structures.
- Repair or replace damaged or old wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture.
- Handle finish work, such as sanding, staining, painting, and varnishing, to improve the appearance of
- wooden surfaces.
- Ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulations on construction sites is a critical responsibility.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in carpentry.
- Requires a range of skills, including proficiency in using hand and power tools, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans, and knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
- The job can be physically demanding, so being in good physical condition is important.
- Understanding and adhering to safety regulations is crucial.
- Good communication skills are valuable for interacting with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- The working environment may be noisy and dusty.
