Wage: $36/hour | Up to 50 hours per week with overtime | Permanent Role

Northern Generator Company Ltd., a trusted Canadian-owned leader in emergency power solutions for over 40 years, is hiring a Janitor to help ensure our facility—inside and out—remains clean, safe, and welcoming. This position plays a vital role in supporting our operational excellence by ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises, including both the interior spaces and the surrounding grounds.
- Clean and disinfect floors, carpets, offices, restrooms, and communal areas
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and equipment
- Dust and wipe furniture, blinds, fixtures, and windows
- Empty and clean garbage and recycling bins regularly
- Replenish toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed
- Report maintenance needs, damages, or safety hazards promptly
- Adhere to all workplace safety, health, and hygiene protocols
- Sweep and maintain cleanliness of walkways, entrances, and parking areas
- Remove trash, debris, and snow/ice (seasonally) from the premises
- Other related duties
- Experience is asset
- Ability to work independently and follow structured cleaning schedules
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward upkeep and safety
- No formal education required
- English as means of communications is required
- Flexible scheduling for full-time and part-time candidates
