Robust Transport Services Ltd., a reputable transportation company based in Abbotsford, BC, with extensive experience in logistics and day-to-day road operations, is currently looking to hire skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic (NOC: 72401) to join our dedicated team.

Position: Diesel Mechanic (NOC: 72401)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Number of Vacancies: 2
Salary: $43.55 /hour for 30-40 hours/week
Education: Secondary School
Experience: 2-3 years of Experience or 3-4 years of full-time apprenticeship program.
Language: English

Job Responsibilities:

• Examine and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and malfunctions.
• Use computerized tools and other diagnostic equipment to assess faults and determine necessary repairs.
• Manage inventory by ordering parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Test equipment after repairs to verify proper operation and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct cleaning, lubrication, and other maintenance tasks.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• Perform routine maintenance and other related tasks.
• Verify and control emission control system.
