Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise and evaluate daily operations of the auto repair shop to ensure timely and quality service.
- Coordinate and assign work to technicians based on repair orders and workload.
- Inspect completed repairs for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and automotive parts.
- Communicate with customers regarding repair estimates, progress, and service recommendations.
- Ensure all workplace health and safety regulations are followed.
- Monitor and control operational costs to maintain profitability.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate shop staff for performance and development.
- Liaise with insurance companies for claims processing and approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and service history.
