Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Tasks
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Measure and mix spices, herbs, and sauces according to traditional Punjabi recipes
- Marinate meat or prepare base gravies or broths in advance
- Maintain proper temperatures for soups and hot items on the stove or in warmers
- Assist with plating, packing takeout orders, or refilling soup containers
- Manage kitchen operations
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
