Smart crew wall and ceilings ltd. is looking to hire 2 full-time Plasterers to join theirgrowing team
Permanent fulltime employment
Start date : As soon as possible
Salary: $37.00/hour for 32-40 hours per week.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Tasks
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical andcoffered ceilings
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
