About the Role
We are looking for a certified Hoist Operator to join our team for long-term, ongoing construction projects across the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in operating construction hoists.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate construction hoist to lift and move workers, tools, and materials
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and maintain logs
- Ensure safe loading and unloading at all levels
- Follow WorkSafeBC safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and site supervisor
- Report equipment issues immediately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Certifications
Please provide valid proof of certification.
- Hoist Operator Certification (BC-recognized)
- Fall Protection
- WHMIS 2015
- First Aid Level 1 (asset)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a hoist/lift operator
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
- Strong safety awareness
- Commitment to full-time availability
- Punctual and reliable
