Job description:
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Valid Ontario Tow Driver Certificate.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely to designated locations.
Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, and fuel delivery.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide timely updates.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Operate tow trucks and other vehicles to transport disabled or improperly parked vehicles.
Ensure that all equipment is properly secured during transport to prevent damage.
Respond promptly to service calls, providing assistance to stranded motorists.
Assess vehicle conditions and determine the appropriate towing methods.
Maintain communication with dispatch regarding job status and any issues encountered.
Perform basic mechanical repairs as needed to ensure safe towing operations.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of tow truck equipment and tools.
