Job Duties:
•Able to work both independently and as part of a team
•Knowledge of paint and related materials such as brushes, rollers, stains, lacquer, enamel,
oil, and varnish, as required
•Prepare, clean, and repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings using scraping, sanding tools,
and appropriate applications
•Provide cost estimates to clients
•Measure, cut, and paste wallpaper or fabric onto walls
•Mix and thin paint to achieve the desired color and texture for interior and exterior surfaces
•Provide effective techniques for removing old wallpaper and loose paint
•Should have good knowledge of color schemes and codes and may advise customers
•Able to apply sandpaper, sealer, sandblasting, and hydro-blasting methods
•Clean the site and tools thoroughly after completing the job
•Able to measure total area specifications to determine the quantity of materials required
