Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu dishes and food items
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Estimate food requirements and costs
- Monitor and order supplies along with maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Recruit, train and hire staff for preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and manage kitchen operations
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Maintain food safety standards
Skills Requirement:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- At least 1 year of kitchen and cooking experience required in food preparation or service industry
