Hours: 30 to 40 per week

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience

Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily washing, drying, folding, and ironing of motel linens such as sheets, towels, pillowcases, and blankets.
- Manage laundry supervisors and laundry attendants and assign tasks to ensure all laundry is completed on time for housekeeping needs. Hire and train employees.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations.
- Plan and control budget and inventory
- Inspect linens to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards before returning them to rooms.
- Maintain inventory of detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry supplies; place orders when stock is low.
- Operate and monitor washers, dryers, and ironing equipment used in the motel. Arrange for repairs or replacement of equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate laundry loads based on motel occupancy and housekeeping requirements.
- Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems
- Implement safety procedures for chemical handling and machine operation.
- Coordinate closely with the housekeeping department to meet daily linen demand and support guest satisfaction.
