Vacancy: Dump Truck Driver

Salary: $36.60 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 per week

Start Date: as soon as possible
Requirements: Class 1 license with air brake endorsement or equivalent from any other province or country.
Location of Work: Various locations in lower mainland
Duties:
- Operate and drive primarily straight trucks, pony to dump ground from sites.
- Drive truck equipped with dump to transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or paving materials.
- Tarping of loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or paving materials.
- Pull levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment and loading/unloading of dump truck.
- Monitor vehicle performance, mechanical fitness, break adjustments and inspect tires.
