Job description:
JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty cleaners.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Hire, train, and mentor cleaning staff to maintain a high standard of service.
- Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities with those of other Cleaning Supervisors throughout the province.
- Prepare budgets, estimate costs, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs as required.
- Perform occasional cleaning duties as needed to support the team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
- Completion of high school.
- At least one year of experience in commercial and residential cleaning, including hotel housekeeping and Airbnb and house cleaning.
- Strong skills in deep cleaning, detailed floor cleaning, and bed making.
- Ability to handle a variety of cleaning tasks and operate basic cleaning equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional and effective written and oral communication in English.
- Willing to travel throughout BC.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical cleaning tasks for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility, with willingness to work overtime as required.
