Wage: $90 an hour, 40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced leader to take charge as General Manager (NOC 00015). In this role, you will oversee daily operations, guide our team, manage staff, coordinate departments, and ensure efficient processes. You will also contribute to the strategic direction of the company and help drive business growth. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to motivate a team toward success. This is a Permanent/full time position within our company.
In this role, you will perform the following tasks:
Set company objectives and develop policies and programs to achieve goals/milestones.
Develop systems and processes for efficient company operation, including workflows, communication channels, and performance standards.
Ensure each employee and initiative aligns with overall company policies, objectives, and strategies.
Implement policies for approval of expenditures, procurement, and oversee use of company resources.
Review and adjust controls regularly to respond to changes in business needs, risks, or regulations.
Coordinate operations across different divisions/regions.
Represent the company in negotiations, including business deals, contracts, and agreements, as well as in dealings with government/municipal agencies /regulatory bodies, including advocating for the company’s interests.
Drive the overall success of the company by monitoring performance and making strategic decisions.
Required education: Degree/diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce or similar related discipline. Required experience/skills: several years of experience in a management or leadership role is desired. Experience leading day to day operations is preferred.
