Job description:
- Assess children's development and support individualized learning plans
- Plan and implement programs that foster physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth
- Lead activities including storytelling, crafts, music, and outings
- Support daily routines such as meals, rest, and hygiene
- Observe and report on children’s behavior and development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate with parents regarding progress and concerns
- Supervise and mentor assistants, trainees, and volunteers
- Assist with housekeeping, snack preparation, and record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and health standards
- Collaborate with staff and community partners to support children
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program planning
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educator assistants
Languages
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
On site
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Term of Employment: Full-time Permanent Position (37-40 hours/ week)
