Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Large workload, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Tight deadlines, physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Overtime required, Handling heavy loads.

Duties:

• Read blueprints and specifications to lay out work.
• Unloading, handling, and positioning steel units/bars for assembling structural frameworks in

            line with blueprints and plans.

• Setting up scaffolding and rigging, installing safety netting, and edge rails to ensure a

            secure construction environment.

• Directing crane operators for accurate placement of steel units, ensuring precise alignment

           and positioning per construction plans.

• Cutting, fitting, aligning, and fastening steel units securely.
• Erect structural and architectural precast concrete components for buildings, bridges, towers

            and other structures

• Assembling prefabricated metal frameworks by joining pre-made metal parts and

           components to form structural elements.

• Reinforcing concrete forms with steel bars or metal mesh.
• Inspecting structures for defects or compliance issues.
• Dismantling structures and equipment as necessary.
• Maybe required to install ornamental and other structural metalwork such as curtain walls, metal stairways and railings.
