Job Descriptions:
• Organizing, planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
• Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications.
• Train and coach employees on policies, procedures and job duties.
• Create inventory reports to determine the sale and purchase of Furniture stock.
• Allocate staff tasks to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
• Conduct market research to gather knowledge about customer requirements and prevailing trends.
• Develop ideas for creative marking campaigns.
• Oversees the pricing and credit policies.
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
• Coordinate the purchase of furniture stock by working with suppliers and traders to meet store needs.
• Handle the merchandise resale process, if needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and other financial matters.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Post-secondary education and/or minimum one year of experience in the field is required.
