Job description:
Dryco Systems Inc is looking for One Drywall Installer for their growing business, who could join immediately.
Below are details:
Work location: Various locations in Vancouver Island
Office: 4775 Trans - Canada Hwy, Duncan, BC V9L 6L3
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $37.00 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours/week
Terms: Permanent full-time-3 years
Language of work: English
Job duties and responsibilities
- Install suspended and non-suspended flush jointed ceiling systems.
- Measure and cut the drywall and wallboard to install on walls and ceiling.
- Fit and secure the sheets to Aluminium and wooden frames with screws and nails.
- Cover joints, screws, nails and other imperfections with compounding material and wall putty
- Tape joints with fibre tape.
- Use trowels, taping tools, putty/joint knives etc.
- Finish with additional coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
Requirements:
• Education: Completion of Secondary School
• Work Experience:7 months to 1 Year
