Grapebrands Fine Wines & Spirits is looking for a dynamic sales representative to become a part of our growing team in selling boutique, artisan style wines and spirits. We are looking for someone to represent our company with integrity to employ the best practices with pride, ownership and passion. Sales representative will inherit existing portfolio while expanding business in Toronto and surrounding areas.

Job Duties:

  • Opening new accounts and gaining new points of distribution in your established territory.
  • Create and build positive relationships with clients.
  • Maintain and develop productive business relationships with all key decision-makers.
  • Establish and maintain call cycle and target list. Generate tracking reports and sales activity.
  • Provide forecasting and stock requirements within account needs.
  • Consult with clients to provide ongoing support by maintaining all active accounts.
  • Managing current accounts including accounts receivable.
  • Responsible for reporting weekly sales to the director.
  • Participation in company or producer hosted events as required
  • Any further reasonable responsibility or duty as determined by the Company.

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role with Wine education background.
  • Sales Manager will inherit an existing portfolio and grow sales presence in Toronto and surrounding areas.
  • Experience within the beverage alcohol sector and with wine is considered an asset.
  • To be organized, have outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi task, and meet deadlines.
  • Well spoken and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Sommelier Certified or WSET #3 will be considered an asset.

Salary:

100% commission or Base Salary Option with proven sales in the industry and account portfolio will be considered.

Licence/Certification:

  • WSET (preferred)
