Job description:
In Home Caregiver (for elderly)
Employer: private household
Work location: Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, V2T 5J2
Salary: $24.50 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 per week
Education: completion of secondary school
Experience: 0 to 6 months of experience, a college diploma will be an asset
Language: English
Start date: as soon as possible
Job duties:
- Assisting client in personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Accompanying client on doctor’s appointment/ social events
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Giving client medication
- Facilitating/assisting client daily activities
- Conversation and companionship
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Assist in exercising
- Collect specimens
