Job Duties:
- Lead and coordinate HR department activities to achieve company goals
- Plan and manage budgets and expenses
- Ensure HR projects comply with laws and regulations
- Create and implement HR policies and procedures
- Develop and carry out recruitment and hiring strategies
- Manage contracts and agreements
- Oversee employee training and development programs
- Analyze employee data and prepare reports
- Address employee questions, concerns, and complaints
- Work closely with management, unions, and HR consultants
- Negotiate collective agreements for the organization or employees
- Handle staff consultations, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Oversee payroll and compensation processes
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff
- Plan, direct, and evaluate day-to-day HR and operational activities
