WELDER

Salary: $36.25 Hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Duties:
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment to fabricate and repair truck and trailer components
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and manuals to ensure accurate work
- Operate flame-cutting equipment, as well as metal shaping tools such as brakes, shears, and bending machines
- Perform welding, brazing, and soldering to bond metal parts and repair cracks, holes, and structural damage
- Set up, operate, and monitor welding machines and robotic welding production lines
- Ensure all welding work meets safety standards and maintains structural integrity of equipment
Eligibility Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in written and spoken English to accurately follow technical instructions, safety protocols, and job orders
- Position requires full on-site presence in a workshop environment; remote work is not applicable
- Able to work in demanding conditions, including outdoor exposure to dust, fumes, heat, noise, and industrial surroundings
- Capable of safely handling heavy metal components, welding tools, and equipment in a physically intensive environment
- High level of attention to detail to ensure precision welding, quality workmanship, and compliance with safety and industry standards
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced production or repair setting
