Position Details:

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $37.00 per hour

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Surrey, BC, other Lower Mainland (BC) areas as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, measure, and mark surface to be covered.
• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges
• Measure and cut tiles using hand and power cutting tools and fit around obstacles and openings.
• Prepare, apply, and spread mortar, cement, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowel.
• Set tiles or marble to walls, floors, ceilings, and roof decks.
• Cut, polish, and install marble and granite.
• Clean and level the surface to be tiled.
• Remove & replace damaged tiles.
• Arrange tiles per the design plans.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School required
• Completion of 3-4 years apprenticeship program in relevant trade OR minimum 3 years of work experience in the related field is required
• English language skills are required
