Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Estimate costs of installing equipment
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
  • Prepare sales or other contracts
  • Promote sales to existing clients
  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
  • Deliver sales presentations
  • Conduct sales transactions
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
  • Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
  • Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
  • Resolve product and service related problems
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
  • Provide customer service
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
  • Conduct research on market conditions in local, regional or national areas

Experience and specialization

  • In depth knowledge of software and hardware related to digital products such as laptops, hard drives, peripherals, monitors, etc.
  • Hands-on experience on preparing quotes, credit/contract terms, warranties, and other sales or legal documents.
  • Customer service and post-sale support skills, great communication abilities in both written and verbal areas
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in conducting formal market research, analysis and reporting to form internal market data
  • Familiar with numbers and data, and have experience in making sales decisions based on local, regional and global market data
  • Have experience in budget management and cost control
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, contributing to solicit and retain potential clients
  • Previous experience with CRM or ERP tools
  • Open-minded and strong cultural understanding to support future international expansion
