Responsibilities
Tasks
- Estimate costs of installing equipment
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
- Prepare sales or other contracts
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
- Deliver sales presentations
- Conduct sales transactions
- Prepare and administer sales contracts
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
- Resolve product and service related problems
- Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
- Provide customer service
- Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
- Conduct research on market conditions in local, regional or national areas
Experience and specialization
- In depth knowledge of software and hardware related to digital products such as laptops, hard drives, peripherals, monitors, etc.
- Hands-on experience on preparing quotes, credit/contract terms, warranties, and other sales or legal documents.
- Customer service and post-sale support skills, great communication abilities in both written and verbal areas
- Knowledgeable and experienced in conducting formal market research, analysis and reporting to form internal market data
- Familiar with numbers and data, and have experience in making sales decisions based on local, regional and global market data
- Have experience in budget management and cost control
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, contributing to solicit and retain potential clients
- Previous experience with CRM or ERP tools
- Open-minded and strong cultural understanding to support future international expansion
