Drywall Finisher Taper
Tricon Drywall located at 11325 79A Avenue, Delta, B.C V4C 1V1, urgently requires 1 Drywall Finisher Taper.
Job Duties:
· Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
· Cut and install metal corner beads in order to protect exterior corners
· Using a trowel and broad knife, fill holes, joints, cracks and nail indentations with joint compound
· Allow the coat to dry and smooth out excessive compound
· Sand seams and joints, as well as applying successive coats of compound
· Fabricate and install metal ceiling grids, place in panels to form acoustical and coffered
· Producing high-quality finishes (ranging from smooth to various textures) in both residential and commercial settings
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position
Position Available: 1
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Language: Basic English is required
Wage: $ 37.00 hourly
Location of work: Candidates are required to work at various locations in the lower mainland
Essential Skills: Critical thinking, working with others, Problem-solving, Continuous learning
Working Environment: Dusty, requires lifting materials and working with heavy tools and work at heights (use of ladders and scaffolding)
Eligibility:
· Completion of high school is required.
· Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
