• Various residential and commercial construction sites
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets according to specifications.
• Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs and joists.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives.
• Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound.
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry between applications.
• Repair and patch damaged drywall surfaces.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and work orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Load, unload and transport construction materials as required.

• Fall Protection Training is an asset
