Super Star Plumbing & Heating Ltd., is hiring for the position of HVAC Mechanic
It's a permanent fulltime position in Calgary (Alberta)
Wage is $38 per hour for 30 to 40 hours a week
Candidate should be willing to start asap
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate with 1 to years work experience is required
Job Duties:
- Interpret and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and installation specifications to plan plumbing, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration layouts.
- Measure, mark, and establish precise reference points for system installation and component placement.
- Assemble and install refrigeration and air?conditioning components—including motors, controls, gauges, valves, pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators, and compressors—using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Cut, prepare, and join piping systems using welding, brazing, and other approved connection methods.
- Install, diagnose, repair, and overhaul complete HVAC systems, including heating units, ventilation networks, air?handling equipment, refrigeration systems, and air?conditioning units.
- Start up newly installed systems and conduct leak tests using specialized testing devices to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
- Recharge refrigeration systems, inspect and test regulators, calibrate controls, and perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts, components, and assemblies across refrigeration, air?conditioning, ventilation, and heat?pump systems.
