We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our team.
Job Duties:
Install, repair and replace asphalt shingle, metal and other sloped roofing systems.
Install waterproof membranes, underlayment, flashing, ridge vents and other roofing components.
Inspect roofs, identify deficiencies and perform roofing repairs as required.
Remove existing roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for new installations.
Measure, cut and install roofing materials according to project specifications.
Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding and fall protection equipment.
Install soffit, fascia, eavestrough and gutter systems as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work site and ensure completed work meets quality standards.
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing or a related exterior construction trade, including siding, soffit, fascia or eavestrough installation.
Experience installing roofing materials, flashing and waterproofing systems.
Experience working safely at heights and using hand and power tools.
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays as required.
Trade certification is an asset.
