Green City Homes Ltd. located in Surrey, BC specializes in high quality painting services for residential and commercial clients. The company is urgently hiring 2 full-time “Painters” to join its team as soon as possible.

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Salary: $25.00 (CAD)/hour

Number of Positions: 2

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work location: Various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley (BC) and/or as per company’s contracts

Job Duties

• Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work and material necessary.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
• Advise customers on colors schemes and choice of wall coverings.
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
• Mix paint to desired color and texture.

Job Requirements

• High School
• Relevant education (e.g., apprenticeship program) or experience (minimum 2 years)
• Functional English
