Vandy Marketing is a full-service digital agency based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, helping business grow through personalized strategies in web design, SEO, paid ads, and social media.
We’re looking for a versatile Marketing Specialist to support digital and traditional marketing efforts. You’ll help plan campaigns, create content, manage social media, assist with graphic and web design, and support lead generation and reporting. Strong communication, organization and design skills are essential. Experience with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Salary: $31.25 per hour
The Marketing Specialist will:
- Marketing Strategy: Analyze marketing offerings and overall digital presence, then identify gaps, and determine marketing and advertising needs.
- Traditional Marketing: Support the execution of marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, print materials, event coordination, and brand communications.
- Graphic Design: Assist in developing marketing assets such as brochures, client reports, newsletters, and other digital marketing materials.
- Content Creation: Create and curae communication materials, including website content, blogs, case studies, and marketing collateral, that effectively represent voice and values.
- Social Media Management: Plan and manage social media content calendars, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and relevant content delivery.
- Website Development: Assist in the planning and development of websites using WordPress, including wireframing, layout design, and basic implementation of content and features.
- Lead Generation & CRM: Manage sales and lead generation efforts and track incoming sales through CRM.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track, measure, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and advertising dashboard to inform ongoing strategy.
Employment requirement:
- A college diploma in discipline related to marketing is required.
- Experience as a marketing role will be an asset.
- English is a must.
- Mandarin is an asset.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptionally organized and dependable, able to self-manage workloads and adaptable mindset
- Strong attention to detail, especially in graphic design and website design
- Clear and professional communicator, both in written and verbal formats
