wholesale establishment manager will oversee our manufacturing operations and report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, scheduling production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing efficiency, and leading a team of production staff. Responsibilities include the following

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the commercial bakery, including production, inventory and logistics.
  • Coordinate and Monitor production schedules, ensuring consistent output of products according to demand forecasts and customer orders.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers for raw ingredients like flour, sugar, dairy, chocolate, and packaging materials; ensure timely delivery and quality control.
  • Ensure optimal inventory control, reducing waste and minimizing ingredient shortages while meeting customer fulfillment timelines.
  • Analyze sales and production data to adjust forecasts and make recommendations for product line expansion, seasonal offerings, or efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with the production leads to ensure product consistency, innovation, and adherence to recipes and specifications.
  • Coordinate deliveries and outbound logistics, ensuring on-time shipment of wholesale orders using internal fleet or third-party carriers.
  • Supervise maintenance of baking equipment and facility cleanliness, coordinating repairs or upgrades as necessary.
  • Manage and optimize ERP software systems used for tracking production, sales, inventory, purchasing, and customer orders; train staff on system use and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management within the food manufacturing industry, with specific experience in baked goods highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,229.29-$86,000.00 per year
