Job description:
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them appropriately within the firm.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates for lawyers and clients.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems, including case files and confidential client information.
- Coordinate with clients, court officials, and external parties regarding documentation and procedural matters.
- Assist with billing processes, invoicing, and tracking legal expenses as required.
- Order and maintain office supplies, stationery and equipment inventory.
- Be the first point of contact with clients over the phone and in-person.
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and other clerical duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws and maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information.
