Position: Home Support Worker (Elderly Care)

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 1V7
Wage: $ 24.50 an hour
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to provide care and companionship for an elderly woman. This is a full-time, permanent role (35–40 hours/week) with weekend availability required. Work is in a non-smoking home environment with free parking.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Prepare and serve healthy meals
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication as instructed
- Support mobility and comfort needs
- Accompany to appointments/outings
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, tidy home
- Keep records of health updates and activities
What We’re Looking For:
- Secondary School
- 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience
- Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid work permit holder)
