Responsibilities

Tasks

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders and process payments using a point-of-sale system.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Portion, wrap and package take-out food orders.
• Serve customers at counters and buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars and food preparation areas.
• Replenish condiments, utensils and food supplies as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of counters, food preparation areas, kitchen equipment and dining areas.
• Receive and store food supplies and ingredients.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation duties as required.
• Ensure excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous manner.
