Safex Transport looking for 20 Truck Drivers hiring in Moncton, NB

Salary: $30.00 hourly
Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
Vacancies: 20
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, full-time
Schedule: Flexible hours, to be determined. Day, evening, night, weekend, and early morning shifts may be required.
Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements

Language: English
Education: Secondary high school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience is an asset
Work Location: Work must be completed at the employer’s physical location and on the road. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Load and unload goods
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

• AZ class license
• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Documentation knowledge

• Accident or incident reports
• Bill of lading
• Driver logbook
• Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
• Trip reports
