GTA Finest Restoration Services is primarily responsible for the renovation of residential buildings and this year we also started to obtain contracts for residential houses. Our job is to take care of fixing, repairing and improving the apartments or houses. We make sure the floor, the paint, and the walls in all the rooms look brand new. We also make sure all the work is delivered on time and with high quality.
We seek one hard-working Floor Covering Installer to join our team.
Job Duties:
Inspecting and accurately measuring residential floors and surfaces to prepare them for new coverings, in alignment with the project’s restoration goals.
Removing existing flooring and discarding this material, ensuring spaces are clean and ready for improvement.
Measuring, marking, cutting, and installing new floor coverings such as carpet and hardwood, ensuring a high-end finish.
Utilizing adhesives, nails, staples, and power tools to securely and safely install flooring materials in line with company quality standards.
Clean up leftover adhesives, mop up floors, inspect finished products for flaws and replace any defective flooring material.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma preferred.
Minimum 7 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in floor covering installation, renovation, construction, or a related trade.
Basic familiarity with measuring tools, flooring materials, adhesives, or installation tools is required.
On-the-job training will be provided to build on existing skills, improve techniques, and ensure compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, professional finishes.
Physically capable of lifting materials, kneeling, bending, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
Flexible availability, including weekends when required.
